Did you know that next year Witney Dramatic Society will be celebrating 80 years of entertaining Witney.
Did you also know that some of the halogen lights we currently use in our productions are almost as old as the society itself. We are therefore looking to replace them with more flexible LED lighting which as well as being more reliable, will also significantly reduce our environmental impact.
However, LED lights are rather expensive and as we are a self funded society who rely on member subscriptions and any income generated from our performances to fund both our annual outgoings and the costs of our productions we need a little help to buy them.
So we have embarked on a fund raising project using Westhive, a West Oxfordshire District Council movement on Spacehive, set up to support community projects in West Oxfordshire. This is a crowdfunding styled initiative and If we are successful in reaching our fundraising target then WODC will also pledge money towards our project.
If you are able help us by making a donation, no matter how small, we would be grateful.
You can find out more about our project and make a donation via the following link - Thank you
