Did you know that next year Witney Dramatic Society will be celebrating 80 years of entertaining Witney.
Did you also know that some of the halogen lights we currently use in our productions are almost as old as the society itself?
We are therefore looking to replace them with more flexible LED lighting which as well as being more reliable, will also significantly reduce our environmental impact.
If you are able help us by making a donation, no matter how small, we would be grateful.

It’s a tale as old as time, but with a twist!
Step into the magic of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, a pantomime by Limelight Scripts. Prepare for an adventure filled with love, laughter, and a touch of magic in this timeless tale, packed with delightful characters, hilarious comedy, and heartwarming moments.
Join the spirited and kind-hearted Belle, as she discovers the hidden beauty within the cursed Prince George known as Beast, thanks to actions of the wicked Witch Greenfly. At the Beast’s castle, Belle encounters the enchanted household such as the sassy Candlestick and ever-punctual Clock, who bring the magic of the castle to life. Along the way, you’ll also meet the outrageously funny Madame Bidet, the flamboyant Frenchman Pepe, and the self-absorbed Danton who schemes to win Belle’s hand.
Don’t miss our production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. It’s the perfect treat for the whole family, a laugh-out-loud, feel-good pantomime that will have you cheering for love and booing the baddies!
See you there!
